Beach

Henry, Auggie and I went to the beach this after noon. I just want to make a note that the only reason that there is a random surfer dude on here is because it's for my sister. Sister, this is for you. Anyway, I fly to New Zealand tomorrow!! My real adventure is just starting. Coming to California and visiting the Scotts has been an absalute blessing with my transition to New Zealand. I reccomend a trip out to see the Scott family and check out this beautiful country side.

To market, to market

BoldThe Tuesday night farmers market in Monterey is outstanding. I didn't realize how excited I got over fresh produce, and now I know that if I want to have the time of my life I just have to go to the grocery store.
You could basically sample anything at this market, I have never seen so many olives in my life.

These ladies were very busy, they always had their hands full. I'm thinking this could be a potential job if school does not work out.

Sail boats

Fisherman's Wharf is lovely at sunset. It was rather cold later this afternoon, so the free sample of clam chowder helped. Jody and I walked around the wharf, checked out the shops, and took some pictures. The only thing lacking was the fish smell...I guess they don't fish anymore.

Sunsets

Yesterday, I climbed the dunes and watched the sunset with Jody, it was magical. I wish my sister was with me. We would be making some sort to movie or attempt to sled down the dunes if she was, and then I would end up in the hospital, so maybe it's good that she is not. Jody and I are heading off to the market place later, it's a good thing I don't have any room in my suitcase, because I would most likely buy a poncho or something...

California Coast

We drove the Pacific Coastal highway to big sur and past sunset drive, it was gorgeous. I hope New Zealand can live up to this view.

Sadie and Rachael

I renamed these beautiful parakeets Sadie and Rachael ( Rachael is on the left and Sadie is on the Right), I am not sure why but somehow they ended up on my head...unlucky. I like them a lot, sister and I should get some one day, and they do really look like us.

Sand Dollars

My adventure to New Zealand starts with a few days at the Scott home. My first day there , Jody, Henry, Augie and I went for a walk on the beach and found about thirty sand dollars. Unfortunately, you can't spend them like real dollars, so I'll most likely decorate my new room with them.

My Family

My mom made a delicious dinner my last night home, and of course my last meal included apple pie. I love my crazy family so darn much. I am flying to California in a couple of hours. Got to go.

Favorite Place

This is one of my most favorite places in the whole world. I love coming here in the summer, lots of memories with friends and family. Nothing better than a picnic lunch and a swim at smoke holes. Casey, Gavin and I drove down the afternoon of my party, it was freezing.

Music at my Party

Casey, Ty and Sadie did an awesome job singing "Any one else but you". We also had performances by Chris and Mary.

Going Away Party

My going away party was a success, tons of people. In this picture somehow I ended up on top..not sure how, but I think my friends will most likely have back problems the rest of their lives. This pyramid includes: Alisha, Gavin, Kate, Chris, Mary, Casey, Sadie and me.
